I had a wonderful time at the Oaks and Origins Festival last weekend in Thibodaux! I met so many wonderful folks, learned so much about the history of Lafourche Parish, and enjoyed the exhibits and the music as we toured the grounds.
Thanksgiving is around the corner and I am thankful to have my daughter coming home from college for the week. This year has been a huge transition for me as I have gone from homeschooling my twins full time to having them spread apart. As parents, we know the day will come when they head out to begin their next phase of life, but it doesn't make it any easier.
